 Jason holds Red Seal Certifications as a Chef and Baker and he is a Journeyman Butcher.
During Jason’s career, he has been a Food and Beverage Manager as well as an Executive Chef and has worked at a range of Camps, Hotels and Restaurants. Jason is very passionate about training and safety and has mentored people throughout their apprenticeships to become Red Seal Chefs. During his career in remote camps, he worked closely with the onsite safety teams and was involved with the development and implementation of safety programs.

Storm Hubert

Storm Hubert joined the Bouwa Whee team in April 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from northern communities and the mining sector. Originally from Yellowknife, Storm has lived in Fort Liard, Edzo, Rae, and spent the past 25 years in Yellowknife. Transitioning into the field of Human Resources, Storm recently completed a diploma in Human Resource Management from McMaster University. Prior to this, he worked for four years in the diamond mines, specializing in drilling and blasting, and recently earned his journeyman ticket as an Oil Heat System Technician. Storm is passionate about HR recruiting, aiming to connect northern talent with opportunities in the diamond mining industry and highlight the industry’s many benefits.

Jason joined the Bouwa Whee team in April 2021 and is new to the North. Jason's vast hospitality background and expertise has helped Bouwa Whee connect with people in the NWT who are eager to further their hospitality skills or who are eager to learn the basics!
